Hello, my name is Sleep Sheep
I’m here to help you sleep.
But first I’ll tell a story
Of how I came to be.
When I was a little lamb
I couldn’t fall asleep.
The farm was just too much fun
I didn’t want to sleep.
One night when Momma held me
Her heartbeat made me smile.
Before too long I was asleep
Dreaming all the while.
The next morning when I awoke
I ran outside to play.
To my delight it was rainy
My favorite kind of day!
So I grabbed my yellow boots
To enjoy the April showers.
I ran and jumped in every puddle
I could play in the rain for hours.
Next thing I knew I was asleep
Snuggled up by a stream.
But then I heard some ocean waves
The beach was in my dream.
In my dream I flew a kite
I built a sand castle, too.

Whales singing in the ocean blue.
When I woke it was dark outside
Momma was calling for me.
I grabbed my bike and rode it home

The Sleep Sheep has been a godsend in helping my baby (age three months) sleep. After tracking my baby's internal sleeping schedule, I incorporated the Sheep into our nap and bedtime routine. After only two days, I'm able to lay him in his crib while he's still awake, and he falls asleep on his own.
This has been the best sleep aid product that I've bought. The sounds play on a nice, long cycle. The timing was a problem with other products I tried to use. These items had an auto-shutoff at around five minutes, which was nowhere near enough time for my little one to settle. As well, I like that the Sheep has volume control.
All in all, this is a great item. I'm planning to buy one for my friends that are expecting babies.

I received Sleep Sheep as a shower gift from my mother-in-law. I did not fully understand what a wonderful gift it was until I attached it to the side of my 2 week old's crib at 2am and turned it on. She was immediately quiet and content and, before I knew it, sound asleep! Now at 2 months, she sleeps well and Sleep Sheep has become part of our successful bedtime routine. She likes the rain sound best.
It is essentially a cute sound machine with Velcro straps that allow you to hang it on the crib (on the outside, of course, to avoid the possibility suffocation). I have chosen to set it to run for 45 minutes, but there is also a 23 minute setting.
It will definitely be traveling with us at the holidays!

We love this sheep! We use it every night as a part of our bed time routine. We've used it since our little girl was born, and she's now almost 8 months and it's still part of our nightly routine. She knows when she starts hearing the "Oceans" sound, that it's time to relax and settle in for bed. It's also great for when we have guests over and making a lot of racket.. it acts as nice white noise to drown out the sound a bit if she's asleep. (And it's adorable looking to boot.) We love this! We even bought the travel version since we go to the beach a lot in the summer. Definitely highly recommend.

Our two year old got one of these as an infant and the 'rain' noise has been a staple to help him fall asleep since. His "Sheepie" is a close companion even when the noise is not playing. We bought another one just last week to give as a baby gift, and found that they had upgraded a little. Our sleep sheep only plays 23 minutes of noise, but the newer model give you the option of the noise lasting 23 minutes or 45 minutes. That's a nice addition, as the 23 minutes sometimes is too short. We have machine washed and dried this MANY times and it seems to be standing up to the beatings a washing machine can give a stuffed animal.
